Hey all,

So I recently purchased a B&O setup with a Beomaster 2400 amp and Beovox S45 speakers. I wanted to connect the system to my 3.5mm input, so I connected the 5-pin DIN to 4 RCA female cables to a 2 RCA to 3.5mm cable. My question is, do you think those two unconnected RCA cables could cause some sort of sound distortion?

Thanks a lot!

Mike

OK you're going from probably a portable device/IPhone to the B&O. The 5 pin DIN to 4 RCA is likely plugged into the "tape" DIN jack on the 2400. If yes this means two of the four RCA's are for sound going in (play) to the 2400 and the other two for sound coming out (record) of the 2400. All four RCA's would be required for a tape deck to both play and record tapes. Only two are required to play sound through the 2400. It sounds like you have the correct two if you have sound. If you have distortion turn down the volume on the device connected to the B&O.
