Hi-Fi World has reviewed my all-time favourite interconnect which I have owned for quite a while myself. I don't think that David Price the author has quite given it all the credit it deserves because it will see off cables three or four times the price with no problem at all. For example, he omits to mention that the noise floor is so low you can crank the volume right up and it doesn't blare at you at all. The increase in sound pressure is in fact there, but there is no shoutiness associated with turning up the volume. You don't realise this UNTIL you hear differently and I always thought it was the amp/speaker interface that was responsible for blare but the cable proves that is untrue. Another unique trait is that it sounds SUPERB on a live recording because the audience doesn't sound like a frying pan full of bacon sizzling away at you. It actually SOUNDS like you are surrounded by dozens if not hundreds of REAL people clapping and cheering all around you. It's uncanny in the extreme and you won't want your old cables connected up again once you have heard SLIC. .
