Hi

I am about to make signal cables analog pre to poweramps.

Gotham GAC-4 or Mogami 2534. Wich would sound best.
My priority is on transparancy.

Both are fine, but trial and error led me to Mogami 2791 as superior to both.
Don't skimp on solder quality (I like WBT) or connectors, it can make a very obvious improvement. I think the Xhadows are the best sounding XLRs but the original or re-labeled ITT/Cannon XLRs from DH Labs or Vampire are pretty close, and better sounding than the Neutriks.

I used to be a dealer for both. I still sell Gotham, as dollar for dollar it is the better cable, although the Mogami looks nicer.
I don’t agree with hotstamper, use Neutrik connectors they consistently make better connection than some of the more boutique types.

An approx. $1 per foot audio cable is quite basic, and a tough price point for nominal transparency. You might consider an audiophile quality balanced bulk interconnect cable for your project.
