I've been very pleased with this pairing during recent years. It provides the type of solid state presentation I seek for my main audio system. The goal has been to configure the type of audio system that can be used to help evaluate a recording from a green room perspective. The type of system that is placed in a recording studio lounge, that can be used to get an idea of what might be an insightful impression of any given production. This is my idea of a reference quality system for my own audiophile purposes. Otherwise, it's good as an A/V system as opposed to a home theater system. 2-channel is fine with me when viewing video programs. But the most listened to source is an Apple iMac functioning as a computer audio server via a distributed audio interface. There have always been various reasons for improvements in terms of modifying the devices in my system, but the Aragon 18K MkII + Bryston 3B-SST have been a real keeper. Cheers, Duster |
