I have a Welborne Labs digital volume control installed in the preamp I just purchased and wanted to know if anyone was familiar with it? On my system the gain is incredibly high and I did notice 4 dip switches located on one of the boards for the volume control. I did contact the builder "Response Audio" and he had no memory of what the switches did since it was the only time he used it and preamp was built in 2008-2009 and Welborne Labs is no longer in business so checking to see if anyone here has some knowledge of it.

The photo shows the board in the front center located...also any have any ideas what the red top spring loaded things are on the top?

thanks for any help.

thanks

They are still in business kinda. They are mostly taking orders on power supply related items and not actually providing the product to the buyer.

I've been waiting on a power supply for my touch and another supply for my vestax for 2 months now. Waiting on Paypal dispute to resolve.

Beware of Welborne. Crooks.

called the number and no response back....I had read several bad things about them. I figured the switches out now just working on 3 red things on top of the volume control that a spring actuated....not sure what purpose they have.
