 Wondering how it compares to the long lived ST 150, which is half the price?

 ...speakers used with them will make a difference.

A neighbor with Wilson MAXXs was using big Krell amps and was impressed when he heard VAC amps at a dealer's.

His wife bought them for him for XMas - they sounded terrible on the Wilsons.

 Never heard a VAC product. I'd like to. I have been pleasantly suprised by the VTL products. They were not on my radar and now they are in my house...
