Here is a 100W Class D I put together around the $30 Sure Class D modules. Enclosure is a 2U 19" dampened rack mount. It has two switchable inputs; one with a Alps pot and 4oz solid brass knob for sources which do not have attenuators and one which connects direct to the power module. 10A rec. bridge and 30,000uf of filtering\storage provide 25V to the brd. Solid brass speaker binding posts, heavy gold plated RCAs, silver plated copper wire in the audio path, a power filter and ferite power cord choke round-out the compliment,

I have only had a short chance to listen to the amp quietly on test speakers so hard to comment on performance. But it will come.

We'll look forward to your comments on the sound.

Do you have a link for a provider of the Sure modules?

Very Nice looking creation. Well Done.
Unfortunately I have My Doubts about those 'modules' .
In my experiences they are Very variable in sounds and durability. Very little if Any QC used.
Not surprising given that they assembled from Fake components.
But Hey! you could one of the lucky ones and yours both works (sounds good) and proves durable.
Although doing both is perhaps too much to hope for.

Thanks for the nice comments. A friend built one some time back and though he mainly plays his expensive 300B PP Amps he enjoys the sound and has no reliability problems. Time will tell and I am yet to have a proper listen to mine in my main system.

You ought to throw it some better loudspeakers, though.

I will also post on my $32.00 headphone amplifier I've just received, but have not powered up yet. I am WAY behind you on case work as well.

Sorry I thought I stated these speakers are only portable test speakers. I have three fully equiped listening areas in the house all with much, much better DIY speakers. I have installed the amp into my main system but are just waiting the opertunity to have an extended listen.

I get the enclosures from Jaycar, where I work. They are costly but very good and have a real pro look about them.

Nice chassis work. I think you're talking about sure-electronics.com as the sure.com website came up some unrelated products and services.

I visited your Jaycar website and they have some cool stuff too but far down under relative to my location smack in the middle of the USA. ;-)

Yes I should have said Jaycar Australia. Being staff I get a small discount. Great enclosure though. 1U, 2U and 3U 19" rack mount. You don't have to use the handles.

I'm about start a 600W monoblocks FET amp in a 3U.

Nice case.

I have one of those little battery operated CD players, too. I use it for initial testing of new builds etc., and any time I need a CD source in a pinch.

I got this as a bonus gift for singing up to Time mag. about 20 years ago. Yes great as a test source. And with the little modded Tandy speakers easy and quick to setup.
