I don't usually shop audio on eBay so I would never have leaned about the Manley Retro 100 had not Core32 posted his question here over three weeks ago. That led me to inquiring further and even considering a purchase as I learned more. However there were only two pair remaining, out of fewer than 20 total, at the time of his question and they were sold before I could finalize a deal. At that time Manley replied with a suggestion that I should consider the Snappers which they claimed to be better in every way. For the cost of new Snappers compared to the deal for the remanufactured Retros they should be. The suggestion of the Snappers sent me back to eBay where I remembered more than one pair being offered. Shortening my story, I bought a pair of Snappers along with the Manley Jumbo Shrimp and I could hardly be more pleased. I suspect after a little more time with them I'll be moved to post a review, detailing more impressions.
