 Is anyone still using this preamp or remember how it performs? I remember reading some good reports years ago but wonder if it might be a little long in the tooth. There is one for sale in my area.
I use Quad 57's with a Bedini 25 amp. I have a Presence Sound preamp that sounds good but is really large in size.

 A good friend has one, it's a really nice preamp for the money. He got it as a SP-2 and sent it to John at Musical concepts to have it upgraded to "B" status and had an external power supply installed. It just went out of production as the SP-3 is about to debut. The nice thing about John's stuff is you can always send it back for upgrades.

 These are nice amps...nice classic tube sound. You could always send it to John for restoration or upgrade.
