I'm considering pre-BEE NAD integrated. What you say?

I initially posted about vintage integrated amp in the Vintage-asylum, but am now considering versions of NAD integrated amps before the current BEE versions. I'm not sure if this is considered vintage so I'm asking in this forum.

I bought a nice Sony ps6750 turntable to play my old record collection. I was thinking of a vintage amp to compliment it, but I've been increasingly concerned about having to rebuild, so I've begun to rethink my logic. I think if I get a late '80s or '90 integrated amp it should still have a nice built in phono stage and more modern amp design, and hopefully more trouble free than true vintage gear.

So I'm concluding that maybe an NAD integrated amp might give me what I want without spending a lot of doe. What NAD integrated have a nice sound and good phono stage from the 90's or there about?

There were early units from the 80's and perhaps early w/ a phono section that were well thought of like the 3120 I think, could be wrong. They didn't have much power though. I never liked the later 90's into the 2000's gear (I was an NAD dealer then) for sound quality. I mean the pre's and integrated amps, the power amps were OK>

IMHO NAD did improve in sound quality in later production years. I've had a few pre-BEE's and honestly they were not anything special.

Just been there already. I maybe letting go of my NAD C326BEE due to an upcoming move across country.

I would strongly consider either the NAD receiver or separates above any integrated.

Why, I thought integrated amps were better than receivers?

You may want to consider a 302 amp from the early '90s.
If you do, I suggest you turn off the soft clipping feature and replace the pre out amp in jumpers with a high quality interconnect or after market jumper.
You also may want to consider an Art phono pre and a T-amp combo as a possible solution.
