Backtracking a bit: After 3 emails never heard back from the person listing the gold upgrade DNA 1 in the trader--so I moved on.
I just scored a pristine DNA 0.5 Deluxe off ebay of all places. Came with original box and poly inserts , original receipt 1998 for just under $1800, manual, even a couple of IC's. The "coasters" and grounding pin are still in a sealed bag. I'm surprised and impressed at the huge feet of what appears to be sorbothane composition. I have the cover off and taking my time looking over the schematic and instructions for setting the bias and checking that output regulators are fine. I dont know how I wait around as have not fired it up yet. Considering that everything associated with this amp was so meticulously held onto over the years I'm feeling confident that there will be no issues with operation. Sometimes Ebay can work but I suggest caution when buying electronics there. Essentially looks like the cover has not been off and there was a bit of dust which I have cleaned out. Now to check it out.

thanks, trying to figure out bias procedure as instructions not quite all compassing as I would like especially being that I would not take on anything more than setting bias.
