'93 Cary SLI-30 any good?

I have a friend who has a 1993 Cary Audio SLI-30 integrated amp for trade.
There don't seem very plentiful so I couldn't find much on it.
It seems to be the baby of their integrated amps past and present.

It uses two 12ax7 preamp tubes with eight el-84 power tubes, supposedly running in class A.
It does not have the phono stage, which would be convenient for me.

Does anyone have experience with it?
Is this a good sounding integrated amp?
Is it prone to failure or is it durable?

Maybe a little late for you, but it is an exceptional sounding system. It is my amp for the last 15 years or so and I still love to listen music with it. Before I had it, I never kept an amp longer than five years, buying the Cary I even stopped looking araound for other amps!

It drives my Eminent LFT-8, for which it is sufficiently powered; I never had technical problems with it.
