I have been using the Sonic Frontiers Line-2 for some time now. I like a detailed, punchy sound. Jazz and male vocals. Imaging is also quite important to me. (Upgrading my speakers may be the best move but I am saving up to make a substantial step up rather than another series of imcremental steps.) I've upgraded the tubes on the Line-2 and there was a notable important--not earthshaking but an improvement nonetheless. When I upgraded my phono pre-amp from Lehmann Black Cube to Pass Labs X-ONO, the sound improved markedly and in my case in the right direction. Do any of my fellow inmates have experience with both the Pass Labs X-1 and Sonic Frontiers Line-2? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty well set on the Pass Labs given the price cuts available and the generous dealer trade-in allowance on the Line-2. Thanks again, Thomas Gonzales
