Hi,Just curious : do some of you own the DPS TT ? It seems to be a very good gear (retail in France ~ 3500 euros).
Regards,
Aurel.

Of a DPS/Schroeder/Allaerts rig. I've only listened for a few hours, but its incredible dynamics, excellent PRAT, and easy retrieval of low-level information are evident right away. Will post more later.
I have to admit I don't have much experience of high end tables in general and can't make any comparisons to other rigs. However, I own a DPS with Wilson-Benesch 0.5 arm and Dynavector 17D and I've been very contented with the combination so far. I bought a previously owned table and got it at reasonable price, hence my decision. It's dynamic, fast, stabile and good looking. The maker of the TT Mr. Willi Bauer can be reached via e-mail (look at his web site, link below) and should you have any questions he's been very quick, kind and super helpful with perfect English language, too (in case you don't don't speak/write German). Table itself is easy to install and maintain, just make sure everything's aligned and level, no suspension springs or such to fiddle with.
Hi,
what link? Can't seem to find his email address.

I have 2 of these tables. Very lively and dynamic. A great value and beautiful to look at. I like the simplicity
Thanks for the input.A question : is it on the "plug and play" side or on the "tweeker" side ? Is it a "no brainer" ?
Look like a no-brainer to me!
Rega Planar 3 (w/Rega motor upgrade), Heed Orbit2S offboard PSU, Michell TecnoArm (a), Goldring 1012GX, Ah! Njoe Tjoeb 4000 w/upsampler, Rega Mira3, REL Quake, M&K Satellite 1 & Volkswoofer, Alphacore Micropurl ICs, QED Silver Anniv.
I've heard the DPS several times for an hour or two. Excellent deck - not quite as good as my Platine Verdier, but it is only a thrd of the price.
Thanks for your point of view.Indeed the Platine Verdier is a marvel. Although I live in France, as Verdier, I cannot consider it as it is too expensive for me.
Do you know if DPS has a web site ? I would like to have some more informations and I would like to know if they are distributed in France...
Best regards,
You will find more details on "HIFI-laden" site, but in German.regards from Portugal
