Of course, both are comic book artists, and their style is very similar I think.
Both are or have been members of bands with fringe type music.
Both have done record jacket art that is definitely not run-of-the-mill.
Both are now living in France!
This book of R. Crumb's record cover art is real eye candy, if you don't already have it.

This is a great one to have as well. I also have some of the trading card sets also. Pretty much a one of a kind artist.

the Blues, and the one just called Trading Cards. I am not sure what the others are, but my son keeps sending them to me.
The only thing I didn't like about Crumb was that DVD with his brother. Maybe it was too real for me, but I always have the feeling that he could have helped his brother more.
