The Jelco's are a Linn mount pattern but the only one that is close in terms of the specified Linn mounting distance of 211 mm is the 250-ST at 210 mm.

The Jelco SA-750D and SA-750DB will also work. They can be mounted at 211-mm even though they are specified for mounting at 214-mm. In fact, they will have a better alignment (Lofgren A) when mounted at 211-mm with an 18.128-mm overhang.
John: I own the 750D. If you search the archives here there's quite a bit of discussion as to whether the arm should be mounted at 214. Mine is and I align to Baerwald with 17.894 mm overhang. Even with that overhang I'm pushed back very far in the headshell.
The discussion in the archives centres on whether a greater pivot to spindle (say something around 216) might not be better and, after experience with the arm, I'm inclined to agree that it would.
Reducing the mounting distance to 211 with the 750 9 inchers would be very problematic with most, if not all cartridges. I doubt if you'd be able to align to any of the big 3 alignments with a 211 pivot to spindle with the 750D.
I was just going by Jelco's published specifications. What you're saying is the Jelco SA-750D is really not a 229-mm effective length tonearm but more like a 233-mm effective length tonearm. While that might be true I can only go by the published specs.
The only Jelco tonearm I have experience with is the SA-370H, which I installed on a Kenwood KD-500 turntable . It supposedly has 239-mm effective length and is designed for mounting at 222-mm. My SA-370H worked just fine with those dimensions.
It seems rather odd that Jelco would publish erroneous specifications, but you obviously have more experience with the SA-750D than I.
Thanks,
John Elison
There were a couple of older arms which were bolt in replacements. Most notable of these was the Zeta, and Alphason HR100(S).
Either of these would probably be a little over your price range. Alphason made a less expensive arm, Xenon, but it might be rare. The ones I mentioned were designed as an alternative to the Ittock.
