I am looking for phono cartridge recommendations.
Criteria:
Mandatory
Under $1000 MSRP
Wide range of resistance and capacitance choices (not just 1 or 2 choices)
MC stage
Optional but would be nice
Capable of accepting 2 TT/cartridges
Prefer tube, but will consider SS
Thank you !

The link shows back order but I'm sure the New Wave is available from several sources, probably even PS Audio direct. Seems to have your criteria covered. $999.00, was $1,800.00
Phono Audio Input
Connector: RCA x2
Cartridge type: Moving Coil or Moving Magnet
Cartridge Output (5cm/s): 0.2mV to 220mV
Cartridge load impedance: 60Ω(80nF), 100Ω(47nF), 160Ω(33nF), 600Ω(8.0nF), 1.0KΩ(4.7nF), 1.6KΩ(3.3nF), 50KΩ(100pF), 100KΩ(47pF)
Analog Audio Input
Connector: RCA (X2)
Input level: 3.15 VRMS (+10dBV) maximum
Input impedance: 47KΩ
Analog Audio Output
Connector: RCA/XLR Unbalanced /Balanced
Output level, nominal: 1.0 VRMS (0dBV)/2.0 VRMS (+6dBV)
Output level, maximum: 3.15 VRMS (+10dBV)/6.3 VRMS (+16dBV)
Output Impedance: 100Ω/200Ω
Frequency Response: 20Hz to 20kHz ± 0.25 dB (RIAA)
THD (Balanced, +6dBV, 1KHz): 0.03%
Signal to Noise Ratio (Balanced output, referenced to +6dBV nominal output level A-weighted)
MM-5.0mV: 87dB
MC-0.6mV: 72dB
Aux analog input: 107dB
Equivalent input noise
Maximum gain phono: <200nV
PS Audio is blowing out the phono stage that has the built in analog to digital converter. It's said to be a great phono stage regardless of the conversion feature and it's at or below $1k now. Sorry I don't have more particulars, I'll try to remember to come back to this once I get home this evening.
MM and MC. Gazillion gain/loading options. Discreet gain stages. One of Michael Yee's fine designs.
Opus 33 1/3
will this better a Hagerman Bugle? Have a Bugle with external power supply and switchable resistors, and was thinking of upgrading also.
