Did you have to build a new armboard for the TD 150 to accommodate the Grace 707? If so, did you have to elevate the Grace somewhat above the original height of the TD 150 top plate?
If I remember my Thorens TD 160 with the bottom removed, I think I would also have to desolder the original Thorens tonearm wires before installing the Grace 707.
Sorry about all the questions, but my Thorens TD 160 is at another location.

Yes, mine looks just like that picture. I made a new arm board for mine out of birch ply. I didn't have to elevate the arm board though. The counterweight sticks out past the back of the plinth so I had to drill a hole in the back of the dust cover to accommodate it...
mentioned drilling a hole in the back of the dust cover. Sorry that was amusing, but I will have to think about that before I use my Thorens TD 160 for the platform. I do have a Kenwood KD 550 that I could use, even though it is missing one dust cover hinge.
