Sent my money out for the Yaquin 23 B phono pre-amp
Some simple questions please.
!.> Just hook it to my AUX on my SS amps correct?
@.> On my Dynaco Pas 3X just hook it to my Aux outlet also, want to see how it sounds with all tubes and am going to start with my SS amp and Adcom Pre-amp run it to my Vans on the SS for speakers and my Bozak 4000 for my all tube set up.
Any suggestions experience would be appreciated.
Much thanks

Good news and bad.
The good - it looks like it uses 12AX7s. There's a shed-load of very good 12AX7 types in current manufacture. Ask over on tubes and you'll get more recco's than you can count. I am particularly fond of the JJ ECC803s. It's a premium version of the 12AX7. I am also a fan of the JJ 5751, another variant of the 12AX7. Many folks think, myself included, 5751 sounds better, but it has less gain than the 12AX7 and may not be a good choice for a phono pre. Check the manual and see what the manufacturer has to say about usung 5751. Whatever you do, be sure to pay for tubes tested and screened for lowest possible noise.
The bad - tubes can be an addiction. Like Pokemon; gotta hear 'em all. Soon you'll be spending your lunch money on preamp tubes. Then it's on to the hard stuff ... tubed monoblocks and kinkless tetrodes. Been the ruin of many a good man.
Enjoy your new phono. I think you made a good move.
The phono preamp can be plugged into any line level input. So aux is fine.
Thanks the Pas 3X has a mono that I like will that match up well?
Also tubes I heard let the original tubes burn in first see if you like them I have a good connection for tubes from a guy I deal with on the west coast but I find that you have to roll several tubes to find the right one for your amps?
Next step is to find a decent audio repair guy someone who knows the vintage amps in the Baltimore Maryland area. I love music all my life I have been working for the perfect sound never find it but this forum is a great find for solid information

You may know all this, in which case I apologize, but you do seem to be conflating the terms "amplifier" and "preamplifier". An amplifier is the last element in the chain, which provides power to drive the speakers. The term "preamplifier" these days can refer to either a stand alone linestage, which means a device that selects among program sources and provides volume attenuation, or a "full function" preamplifier, which would be a linestage and phono stage all in one package on one chassis. So far as I recall, a PAS3X has its own phono stage, but I may be wrong. So, to summarize, you connect your Yaquin into your PAS3X using an AUX input (or you could use inputs labeled TUNER, as well, if you do not use a tuner otherwise). The PAS3X provides the signal to drive the amplifiers. Long story short, you probably do not want to connect the Yaquin directly to your amplifiers (as you stated in your first post), unless one or the other also has a built in attenuator.
Don't worry too much at first about rolling tubes. That's way over-rated. Just buy some good quality new manufacture tubes to start with. There are many vendors available. Decent brands for tubes you are likely to need in the Yaquin or the PAS3X are Sovtek and JJ. I second the recommendation of Bill Thalmann in Springfield, VA, if you need some technical assistance, but Bill does not sell tubes.

Not sure about the mono. If your amp has a mono setting maybe? Mono has some specific requirements that should be met for the best sound. I don't know what they are, however.
As far as the tubes go, yes, it's better to listen to whatever came with the preamp for a couple of weeks then start rolling tubes. When I first got into tubes, I ended up replacing many of the tubes in both my preamp and the 2A3 monobolck amps I was using at the time. Interestingly, I preferred the sound of my original cheap Chinese 2A3 tubes to the much more expensive Russian tubes I bought to try to "improve" the sound. So it's a fun process that can surprise you.
but Bill Thalmann at music technologies is your guy :). I have not found anyone on Baltimore yet.but both are kinda far from Andora...
