Lord have mercy, I love this cart. Smooth, spacious, dynamic-seems to be a perfect match for my system. Listening to my Animals 45 rpm EP's right now and loving the sound.

Well, actually, my only LOMC. The other eight I have mounted on headshells are MM and MI types. I probably like the Denon so much because it sounds so much like MM/MI to me :-)
What turntable and arm are you using? I tried this cart. twice on two different turntables. The sound was smooth but not dynamic...
It gets me digging through my LPs, looking for stuff I haven't played in years just to hear what those records really sound like.

I played the DL-301II for a couple of years in my Thorens TD-126 Mk III with SME Series III tonearm . I thought it sounded very good. In fact, I like Denon cartridges quite a bit. Presently, I have a Denon DL-S1 mounted in my Technics SL-1200 and an Audio Technica ART7 in my Sota Millennia . Denon and Audio Technica are my favorite cartridges these days.

I had this cart for a while and loved it. Was a good match for my Thorens arm. I later sold it when I got a Linn table.
I'm using a modified Akito IIb with a "Soundsmithed" Ortofon Kontrpunkt A.
WOW is all I can say.
Also, what iteration of Linn (I assume LP12) are you "at"?
Mine is a pre-Cirkus subchassis, latest arm board, homemade plinth and a modified motor PSU from a Linn Axis.
