Shiny black, no spindle marks, no surface noise at all. Columbia "Guaranteed High Fidelity" two-eye. Cover has a little bit of foxing; shrink wrap still in place, one corner a bit soft, but otherwise gorgeous. Appears to have been verrrrry rarely played.
And the sound... I have a still-unopened 45RPM MoFi copy of the album, but I'm tempted to just sell it. Can't see how it could be any better, especially since the tapes were 50 years old. The mono has presence, clarity, and punch, no glare or harshness, natural tone and dynamics.
Fifteen bucks at my local wreckit stow on Saturday. I like when that happens.
