Can you tell me about your three phase shift network? Are they available for purchase, or do you have to build the boards.

Yes, please keep us informed. I have a 3 phase motor controller project going on, and is hampered by my lack of knowledge of solid state. I'm a hollow state guy. I conferred with an EE friend of mine today, and put my 3 phase signal generator on an O scope, learned a lot. I have to drop back and punt on my project, but think I can make it work.

Please keep us up to date. That motor in the pic somehow resembles a computer hard drive motor.
It is the Papst motor for the Thorens TD124 special made as drop-in replacement for the E50 motor.
I have a ROK B12h with the three phase Pabst motor. I have a keen interest in what your doing. Like Twysted I'm not a designer but a technition, give me a print and a parts list I can build it ( in fact from the parts I could probably get close enough). I'm a little lost when searching for the required components.
In case you haven't kept up to date, have a look here:
It's too bad you can't get your hands on some test equipment to help you out! : )
