You can get a used Grado on Ebay for under $30. Why don't you get one and you can use the new stylus that you have, any Grado stylus will fit any Grado body. ....
WOW,
I remember when you use to be able to get a F3E+ for $30.00, of course I also remember paying $35 for a brand NEW ADC XLM but that was 1972, the F3E+ was in 78 or 79. It was a pretty good cartridge too. Another Grado giant killer. I took a F3E to the record store to let the guy hear it, he became a dealer after that. He did me a favor a few years later and I got my Sonota for $350. Grado always played well above their price point. Back in 1972 I remember consumer reports rated the Empire 1000ZE/x as a great cartridge along with the XLM/VLM's and the Grado FCE. Forward into the past! Anybody know if there's a comparison chart of the various Grados and their approx. equivalents, or families?

that was very popular. I liked it better than many of the Shure, Audio Technica, etc,of that era. And the $13.00 price was the icing on the cake !
There is one on Ebay with low hours. The starting bid is $34.99. Go for it!
What every one posted below. If $60+ bucks is too much, well your in the wrong hobby.
It's my daughter who is in the market. We will never get young people into this if we think they have money.
I hear ya. I thought the $$ comment was unneeded. Especially since we generally don't know the whole story.

Amen.
The Needle Doctor has always given free shipping on any cartridge that I have purchased. That's about it!
Part of the agreement to become a Grado dealer (I am one) is not advertising anything but list.

I have rarely, if ever, seen or heard of discounted Grado products from an authorized Grado dealer.
Discounts usually apply to "grey market" items only. Sometimes you'll find *free shipping* or possibly a discount on "open box" items, but rarely is there a true discount.
