Haven't found much at my local Goodwill lately, but saw these 2 and had to have them. The Martha Young, on Carnelian, is near mint.
I love the music. Private label, based in Berkeley (home of my alma mater). And I have to buy any lp on the Black Jazz label. Doug Carn's music is very accessible.

Follow Ups:
A week later and it's another Saturday. Here are my yard sale finds. The LP is NM/NM and the 45s in beautiful shape as well. I also have three more leads and a collection to look at later this afternoon.
I have found very little in the way of Jazz at GW in the last 35 years. Never anything on hard to find labels like Strata or Black Jazz. I recently found Carn's infant eyes at a store for $4. Cover kind of beat, LP is VG+ plays well.
CAL?
Go Bears. Although I keep saying that and it doesn't do any good.
Yeah-
Found another nice piece at a Goodwill...
This guy made a lot of records...
Signed original photo by Norman Seeff...
The Bears had a good run a few years back...maybe someday...
Love the Bay area...I would live there if I could.
