I recently had a Clearaudio cart installed, just dropped my table off and had the dealer put it on. This is my first CA cart. I got a box with like a cart, a little bag with the screwdriver & extra hardware but that is it. The dealer says they come pressure wrapped or something, I wish I had seen it before it was opened. I was just curious what any of you might have done when switching or selling the CA as there seems to be no good way to store it in the box it came in. I just got it and probably shouldn't be thinking about this but every cart I've ever owned had some type of nice container or box.

I have a Maestro V2 and have put it back in the box easily by re-wrapping the plastic film right back over it, as it came. I think it's actually a pretty good system. Unless you threw away the film...
Thanks. I still have the box and plastic but didn't get the plastic out to mess with it.
In the past the less expensive MM carts. came in a cardboard box with a shrink wrap over the, The more expensive MM and MC carts always came in a wooden box. This was how it was when I was the importer, can not speak for the present importer. But it stands to reason that more expensive cartridges need to be protected.
Thanks. Even my old $100.00 Stanton & AT carts from back in the day had decent boxes. I plan to keep this one for a while but if I ever switch it there's nothing to store or ship it in.
Don't know for sure on yours, but I agree cartridges come in nice packaging....
I have used something like this. Just drill 2 holes in the lid of appropriate size and distance apart in the lid. Then mount it on the inside and screw the lid on. Wellprotected!
