Happen to you?
Picked it from between the Szell/Gilels and the Serkin/Ormandy today. Brilliant performance, exquisite recording.
It's not just senility which I have aplenty. I never bought this. Never. Thought may be it was a back-ordered re-issue snuck in but it's not that either.
Thank you, Vinyl Gods.

I have some 150 classical dupes in the hallway which i cannot seem to give away. Some labels like Philips kept reissuing the same recordings over and over again, in different sleeves. No way my old brain can remember all that.
I have no regrets whatever, even classical vinyl has dried up.

"The White Album" a few+ years ago when sorting through the spare bed/junk room.
Don't recall purchasing them @ all (they were bunched in a group/bag), but as we currently drive a car that I don't recall purchasing either I'm not really alarmed @ the find.
I like finding stuff.
Have several copies of LP's I forget I already own. And, also find LP's I forgot I owned at all. Some of them are even good :-)
I keep finding audio tubes that I have no memory of purchasing.

I often find 3 or 4 of something I kept forgetting I had already bought. That means that as hard as it is to add something to my mental list, it's even harder to delete something from it.
I like that performance. I have it on vinyl and on an RCA reel-to-reel; I think it sounds even better on tape.
