This is nicely done for showing the process and then demoing before and after results. I'll admit I wouldn't apply the glue while the record was on my turntable but guess that is a personal choice.
Also I wonder if the author ever tried wet cleaning? Done properly that may have been as or even more effective. But I will say that well cleaned records typically regain that nice shiny black appearance and the glue did that.

Seems I used the wrong glue. Used Lepage carpenters glue.
When I got it to come away, scratched the record getting the peel going, it came away more like a static hold, not at all like the effect in the video, where you can clearly hear the screech as the well stuck glue comes off.
Based on this trial alone, fail, but might consider trying again with a PVA glue if I got that correct.

I've used glue on many LP's... use Titebond II or equivalent and don't be afraid to apply a thick coat... I use a small tab of painters blue tape on the outer edge to help start the peel... excellent results... have since purchased a RCM, but will still glue a stubborn older LP at times.

If you compare results with NO cleaning, then yeah, it does remove dirt. I have the low tech spin clean and it does a better(and neater)job.
The peel(if you get it in one try) does make a good conversation piece.
This of course, is only my experience. I read on another forum results ranging from nothing to excellent results as if it were placed in the 3k audio desk ultrasonic!
I saw no improvement in multiple records that I had cleaned with my Nitty Gritty.
I have a record with wood glue drying as we speak to try this for myself.
The guinea pig (something proving difficult of find a good copy) ... tomorrow evening will peel wash and try.
Let's just say while highly sceptical of results anywhere near as dramatic as that presentation implies, I hoping very much hoping to be proven wrong. ;)

The after sounds almost as good as a Ceedee!
