I am going to place a small order at Music Direct, getting Chicago II, have a fair 2 eye copy but liked the CTA I bought a couple years ago. Also want to get some more Van, have Street Choir, Moondance and Astral Weeks. Is the 180g Speakers Corner Blowin your Mind worth the extra 15 plus bucks over the Sundazed issue?
I was also looking at Boz Scaggs Silk Degrees but not for 27 bucks, whats up with that? I have an old copy, a little krispy but not worth spending that kind of money on, or is it?

Follow Ups:
I have almost all of his albums (but not every pressing of each) and here are the ones I like best, not in any order
Band and Chior in the Street
Poetic Champions Compose
Tupelo Honey
Moondance
Tops on my list is No GURU,NO METHOD,NO TEACHER. Most Van fans will not agree but I like this one just below Astrel Weeks.
Another Van Morrison album I really like is "Too Long In Exile", though I'm not sure if it's available on vinyl. I've had the CD for at least a decade. I need to add that to my want list for LP's; assuming it's available as such.

St Dominicks Preview or
Tupelo Honey? These two along with Astral Weeks are the only ones of his I really like, but I love them and they stay in rotation after all these years.

I think I own every album Van has put out. Stay away from Blowin' Your Mind. I think Van's best album is Veedon Fleece. Better than Astral Weeks. Have to find an original though.
I love Veedon Fleece too. An original is hard to find and usually in so so condition especially as far as the prssing (in?)equality goes.

I would also suggest Irish Heartbeat, Van's first album with the Chieftains. Their version of She Moved through the Fair sends chills down the spine.
Inarticulate Speech or the Heart. Your going to have to find it used but, oh it so good.
Blowing your mind is one of the last LPs I would get by Van. His double live LP, It's Too Late to Stop Now would be high on my list with St. Dominic's Preview close behind. My absolute favorite by him, but which is less popular with his wider audience is called Into the Music. Side two of that LP is, in my opinion, his masterwork.

Thanks for Blowin My Mind perhaps? I love what I have from Van, but at this point I want the best of what I can get, I'll try your suggestion and see if my mind gets blown more.
Brian
of Poetic Champions Compose.
Unbelievable...and I'm pretty sure Van votes that LP as his best.
An accolade such as that is not to be ignored.
