In Reply to: RE: UK Pro-Ject Debut III & US Speedbox II - help please posted by milkplus on August 13, 2012 at 22:28:21
The Speed Box is normally shipped with the external power supply ("wall wart") for the country where it will be used.
In your case, you will probably be receiving one with a North American power supply. You'll have to source a UK type power supply. Here is a link to the manual. Note that you'll have to use the smaller pully anyway with a 50 Hz power supply.
Best of luck!

thanks for the reply! so what you're saying is that ostensibly i can just plug the wall wart that came with the TT (it's also 16v) into the Speed Box and set the belt to the smaller pulley and i should be good to go? can't wait to get back from work and try this out!
tried swapping with a 16v power adaptor from the TT and it didn't work. Looks like i'm going to have to order a new 60hz pulley from the US to get this working.
Perhaps you should contact Pro-Ject Support and see what they recommend?
The Speed Box is not compatible with the Debut III USB model.
