Hello,
Does anyone else have this.. I think it's great, but why so expensive?
Follow Ups:
I know Crazy Horse is sort of an acquired taste, and that their "calling card" you might say is their tendency to play in a "loose" fashion, but really...I could not make it through this album. And I really like Neil Young.
I listened to the vinyl tonight. Very clean pressing with no background noise. It's as much a Crazy Horse effort as a Neil effort. I would not hesitate to recommend it...even at +/- $40
Sorry to hear this is so expensive.
It should be an excellent recording, though.
I understand that Neil Young is a real vinyl fan.
It's not worth it by any rational yardstick. It is extremely expensive. My other copy was a, uh, free sample.Mine is sitting next to the turntable, waiting to be played.

it's been my experience that young can put out some of the best quality vinyl.
doesn't seem expensive to me. 2 lps, mastered by bellman from analog tape and mine has excellent packaging and is very well pressed....but then i'm a young fan
but the LP will be purchased soon (only $36.98 at Amoeba SF and I have trade
credit!) and should be an upgrade.I think it's the best thing he and CH have done together in (too) long a time. Gotta have the vinyl...

old friends making good sounds and having fun....and well recorded
just saw it on amazon for 31.55 and to me it was even worth the 39 i paid.
got it yesterday and have just finished the 3rd listen through the 3 sides.
It sure seemed expensive to me. I settled for the CD. I like buying vinyl releases but there is a ceiling as to what I will pay.
