When I clean records I always start with side one so that when doing side two I know I am done and don't have to wonder if I forgot side one.
Am I the only one ?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
Makes me feel a little less crazy.

I'm speaking of the ones that were pressed to be played on changers (gotta get me a changer one of these days!) that had side 1 and side 5 on the same disk. I'd have to pull out my scientific calculator in that case.Regards,
Waxxy

Yup...side one then two. My methods get stickier. I keep the bottle of Olly's in front of the Distilled Water till the cleaning cycle is done, and then put the Water in front during the rinse cycle. That way if I get distracted after I set down one brush or the other, I can look at the bottles and tell which process I just finished. And I do get distracted.
See ya. Dave
I clean side 2 first.

Sorry, obtuse Quadrophenia sequencing joke.
Could have been an Electric Ladyland joke, but I went with The Who.

.....and just the way I do it too. Don't ask me how I figured it out.

I do the same thing...you're not alone:-)
I do it all in the name of music!!!
..but I do it so I can twice thank the records I don't have to put my reading glasses on to tell one side from the other.
Does that make me crazy?
I do the same thing only different. I count down side 2 then side 1. Some early monos make it hard they are not numbered.

I do the same, start with side one.
I had never thought about it, but now that you mention this.....
