Hi everyone,I am new here and have a few questions about a MCS component I bought off Ebay.
Its an MCS VTR Component TV. This unit has a typical TV tuner in it and also has a Scope section that hooks up to your speaker output on the receiver. When the scope section appears, a back light comes on in front of the TV tube and scales become visable. The TV projects to solid lines that show the waveform. The scale also tells how much wattage the receiver is putting out and can change the wattage sensitivity by a switch (.3, 3, 30, and 100 watts) Has anyone else ever seen or hear of this unit? I am guessing it rare as I have never heard of such a unit before.
I am posting a link to the picture.

Strange, I just got one if those last weekend and was going to post a picture. I like the fact that it has a "Click type" of channel selector and a fine tuning knob under the VHF knob. Being used to the horizontal display on an O-scope, the vertical "waveform" display is distracting, but does work well. I am curious as to how much you got it for; mine was $30.00.Dave
Dave,I paid 17.50 for mine off ebay. The guy didnt have the owners manual.
I have part of an owners manual; email me at:
n3rqj@bellsouth.netI will scan them and send you the images if you are interested. Please note that I generally only check my home email once a day in the evening.
