The brass caps on my unit (including the concentric knobs) all have the dash (line) on the bevel edge of the knob. Everything I've seen on the 'net has them on the cap face. What's the deal? These look to be original Fisher knobs.

Yep. Yours has the later knob caps with the line on the face and not the bevel.
There are plenty of makers of repro with line in them for the Fisher knobs, not hard at all! Search missiontimes, I found those to be very good
you will need to do a search on ebay, don't know if there are any remanufactured caps and you may have to just set up a search on ebay for Fisher knobs to find the correct knobs. Don't expect cheap, lot of people looking for them, I have a search for Scott knobs, will take time...
If you look at what I posted you'll see that my 202 is an early model and has different knob caps than any that are currently being sold on eBay. You might want to read my original post again.
I bought a set online for my Fisher X-101b, but gave the extras to Samara. Maybe Mikey can look at the package to see if there is the name of the party I bought mine from. The replacements looked great, but the brass was obviously more shinny than the originals.
Thanks. I just need the line/dash to be on the bevel rather than the face of the cap. I have looked for days online and have found none.
None of the ones I have or the ones Jerry gave me have that line.I need some of the lined ones as well.

Guys, so what I think I did was purchased the reproduction ones with no marking at all (see link - but I don't recall if that is the party I got mine from. Mine came in a pack of like 6 or 8). And as I look at my knobs I took a fine tip hobby type paint brush with some hobby gloss black paint, and made a very small dot on the bevel - approximately the size of the mark on the other caps. If you look close at the originals, I think that is actually an indenture into the cap. At 1-3 ft, I can not tell the difference. And a whole lot better than no cap. Mike, if you still have the leftover ones I gave you, see if there is a supplier name that you can pass on. They all came stuck to one large piece of paper as I recall. Their real cheap. Hope this helps.
