If it is a clean unit, then yes it is worth the price. Especially since it's a local sale and you wouldn't have to screw around with shipping, buyer feedback, and possibly not getting what you paid for if it was a ebay sale.
Those were top of the line back in the late 70s and are still competitive with anything today. The lytics must be replace if they haven't already.
The Yamaha 2010, 1010, and 810 all share the same sound albeit with different power ratings with the 1010 being 100 wpc into 8 ohms.
I have linked a "New Record Day" review/comparison by Ron of the Yamaha 2010 (1978) with the Yamaha 2100 (2016).

The reviewer really did peg the Yamaha sound.

The post above was worded a little ambiguously, I thought - tho' it does mention the CA-2010.
Truth be told, I couldn't see paying $450 for a CA-2010, either, unless it had been fully refreshed and offered 'like new' cosmetics.
I paid considerably less than that for a working but unrestored CA-2010 in very good cosmetic condition.
all the best,

4everyoung, read on diyaudio that CA-1010 speaker relays can be problematic. Since seller is asking for top dollar, inquire if they're working properly. Otherwise, seller better include Yamaha SG-2000 Devadip Carlos Santana axe in deal. ... Got an R-100 Natural Sound receiver about a year ago. 100 watts-per-channel from Darlington power packs. One of the first computer receivers, with Spatial Expander inspired by Carver's Sonic Holography. Graphic EQ can be stored in three user presets, along with preset eq's for loudness, bass, presence, & treble. Decent FM tuner. For a muscle receiver, it has a relaxed sound presentation. Personal tonal preference is eq in Mesa/Boogie "V" configuration. ... 73s para Sactown
