. . . and eventually gave it to a friend of mine. I don't know if he still has it.
I don't remember it doing all that much sonically. I've had good luck, though, with the IsoTek Full System Enhancer and Rejuvenation Disc. It's been a key part of my audio "toolbox" for years now.
Music Direct's website says it's no longer available, but I think it can be downloaded off the Web.

I have both. They seem to do different things. The IBE tends to make the system sound a tad more relaxed. The Isotek seems to improve the soundstage/imaging and the 2 extremes of the FR. I tend to prefer the Isotek. Its also a great burn in disc, but boy does it get annoying after a couple of days. :-(

I agree with you about the IsoTek's effect on the frequency extremes. That's where I tend to notice it the most. As I mentioned, I don't remember the Ayre doing as much as the Iso, but it was a while ago, and my memories of it have faded a bit.
After a few days of listening to the Isotek, even at low volume, I'm fit for a friggin' rubber room. Glad I haven't had to burn in any components recently! :)

After a couple of days burning in with the Isotek disc, I switch over to an Ocean Surf disc. I have to. :-)
