Retired now and downsized fron the long term big setup to a Sophia integrated tube amp with the LSA 1 monitor speakers. I have the lowest level of these (there was a signature and statement version)
For what they are, I like the speakers but would like a smoother and more open top end.
Has anyone modified the crossover of these? or possibly offer some insight as to what can be done to allow sound quality improvements?
Any ideas or positive experience is appreciated!

Re-designing the crossover is certainly possible. But if you wanted to go that far, then consider possible driver replacement as well. If you went that way you might as well buy new speakers.
As an alternative you could replace the capacitor(s) and resistor(s) in the existing crossover. Reasonable prices for caps can be had at Parts Express or Meniscus. Solen, Audyne, or some Clarity caps are worth considering. Resistors should be at least 10W and non-inductive. I prefer Lynx or Mills resistors. I'd avoid the sand cast types.
There is no beer in food, but there is food in beer.
That's a nice looking loudspeaker. What make/model speaker stand is it positioned upon? Is there a set of vibration control pads or points placed between the bottom of the enclosure and the top plate (or pillars) of the speaker stand?
