Documents don't help; you'll need to experience this yourself.
Cables are directional and so why are reistors not?
Follow Ups:
Definitely agreed. From my experience, fuse, capacitors, resistor, inductor, they are all sound difference with different connection (direction). Vishey,Caddock,Shinkoh,Audio note,Kiwame,Mills, these are resistors that I used and tested for directional. Yes they do sound different.
I've assembled many electronic kits and dozens of loudspeaker crossovers and never experienced any audible effects due to orientation of resistors. Does Ohm's Law behave differently depending on directionality?I've never seen any articles claiming directional differences in resistors, other than anecdotal claims such as yours. All reasonable evidence points to this as being just another audio myth.

...all of your resistors could be (gasp!) installed backwards!
But it looks good to me as I put the lid on.
Exacta Mundo! Not to mention all internal wiring of speakers, amplifiers, preamps, cd players, transformers, etc.
what you will.
Some of the most important discoveries have come from blue sky thinking and experimentation.
