I am also in the process of rolling opamps on the Elevator. I decided to substitute the stock AD829JN with other opamps such as AD797, AD744, AD743, OPA627, NE5534 to name a few. Currently the AD797 and AD743 is on the shortlist for best. They had more dynamics and provides more oodles of detail. AD744 is also very good but rather noisy. OPA627 had better timbre but lacks dynamics.
I still have several other opamps I need to audition tho.Let me know if you have anymore tweaks. This is so much fun.

Which AD797 and OPA627 have you tried? I think the AD797 AH and the OPA627AM are better than the AD797 AQ and OPA627 BP.I was told that the 111BM and OP128 were very good sounding.
