Never have, anyway.
Changing the tube type, and resetting the circuit and NFB? You bet!
I hardly ever have tube socket problems. BSEG!

Use a good SET amp and those issues disappear. SET's make tube rolling a interesting, worthwhile endeavor.
Don't need or want a SET amp.
