I have the same issue as Rockpassion with my BeePre and have been thinking about the teflon sockets from Valab. Any thoughts?

Follow Palustris's advice and forget out Teflon sockets. Rockpassion, after you clean and tension or replace your sockets, spring for a good set of Czech 300B's. I have used 300B's in SET powers amps for probably 15 or more years now, and EH were the worst I ever used. Did not last long either. I prefer Czech over Chinese. I find Chinese I have used too light and airy.
I have not tried teflon sockets so have no opinion, but you can't go wrong with NOS USA.
I've been using the JJ 2A3-40 for several years and think it is a great tube, but I just bought a set of Emission Labs 320B!
