There's someone here everyone recommends, but I can't remember who it was.....

Follow Ups:
are two I've used - very helpful, honest, and competent.
I use Andy at Vintage Tube Services and Roger Modjeski at RAM LABS. Never any problems.
Jim McShane is world class to deal with, for sure, and that's usually my first stop.
I've done a lot of business with Roy & Dale at Radio Electric Supply over the years related to NOS American tubes for my Leben gear, and they have been awesome too.
While I personally haven't been a customer of Kevin Deal at Upscale, word of mouth is that he is superb.
And then sell you a pair of Compact 7's? Which later got stolen in Italy?
Or is that another Jeff Day?

No, it wasn't me.
Best,
Jeff
Jin Mcshane is excelled as well as Kevin Deal at Upscale audio. Both sell quality tubes and you wont regret form buying from either.
Try Byrd. He's a member. I use him and swear by him.
Observe, before you think
Jim McShane. www.mcshanedesign.net.
Use the link on the Asylum home page. That way the Asylum gets credit and you're supporting two great assets to the hobby.
Ditto that
.
Jim McShane
Yup, Ive bought from Jim also. He was able to recommend tubes to me and was always willing to answer my questions. Always nice to have a source that is easy to talk to and honestly cares enough to help
