I have a set that needs to be replaced. While I've enjoyed them, I do feel the soundstage is a bit reduced.
The integrated is an AMC CVT 3030a.
Follow Ups:
The KT77s are in with no immediate issues. The biased nicely and held spot on. I'm now breaking them in a bit. As stated, they do have a more pronounced mid-bass. More observations after I've observed a bit more.
I guarantee that you will love these 6p3se.Yes,they are a military 6L6 type but many are in use in place of EL34s and they are five thousand hour tubes. You will like the JJ KT77s sonically if they hold up. I tend to believe what Jim Mcshane says about certain tubes as he runs pretty rigorous tests and sells lots of tubes.

Durability will be the key with the JJs, based on what I read. I'll definitely check those out though, as the price is definitely tempting.
I'll make sure changing the tubes solves my fuse blowing issue before I move. Thanks for the tip.
The new Gold Lion kt77's are the real deal. Just put them in my VTL ST85 and they do everything you would want. I tried the JJ kt77's and I could just get them to reach required bias with my amp. They are somewhat aggressive sounding and not as musical as all the other tubes I have tried. In order of preference they are:
Gold Lion KT77
Shanguang Treasure 6CA7
Electro Harmonex EL-34
6P3se's
JJ KT77
I do want to point out that all of these tubes sound good but the Gold Lions and the Treasures are exceptional

I like the GL Kt77s to...They sound much more like the 6L6 in its own circuit and thats a good thing AFAIC.I don't care for any of my vintage EL34 in any application other than for mids..The GL KT77s tho are a killer tube.

Totally agree. I installed them in the Image 34i integrated amplifier which accepts EL-34 and 6L6GC tubes, adjusted the bias and liked them better than xf2 single-getter Mullard EL-34 (more organic).
I'm going on the advice of my tech, and have ordered the JJ KT77 on the hope that a bad tube is what is causing me to blow fuses.
With some luck, this will stabilize the situation and improve the sonics. The Tung-Sols are punchy and nice and extended on the highs, but the do collapse the soundstage a bit.
If these don't work out, I'll probably be hunting down a PrimaLuna integrated.
Cheers
Tung Sol EL34-B is a very nice tube. Cleaner and more dynamic than the regular TS EL34, IME.
Vinyl + Tubes= Bliss
SED Winged C ( =C= ) EL34's and don't look back.
My favorites.....liquid....and sound so good...jallen
i really like the new sensor mullards sound rich in my Primaluna
