Here's my oddball: 6681 tube, says GE, Great Britain, and an RCA box

Weird huh? I know lotsa tubes were rebranded in the 60's, but this NOS tube says Gt Britain, GE 188, has no etched letters and 12AX7A. Short grey plates w/ no holes. Wonder where it was really made?

Before anyone jumps in and says it may be a Mullard , it's not . Does not look like a Brimar either but I can't see clearly from the pictures . If you can get a decent macro shot it would help , also are there any etch markings ? The box is obviously not original
