I bow to your obviously superior knowledge and wit.You really showed me.

WOW, what a 'compliment'!AA is to a place for free exchange of ideas & experiences. NOT intended for personal attacks.
If one doesn't like whoever's post, leave it alone or comment creatively, ideally with substantiation, so that other inmates can share. This is the spirit of AA.
Nobody is perfect, & knows everything correctly. Surely, one doesn't NEED to launch personal attacks to express its opinion however
ridiculous the posts may sound to itself. Things have different
viewing angles. What one considers absurd can sound perfect to others.
Just like HiFi.We should be thankful to our moderators here who are so lenient with all these stones throwing, fingers pointing & names calling. Moderators of other achives, e.g. Cable Asylum, Propeller Head Plaza, etc. are so much tougher on inmates' misconducts.
I am not perfect. Nobody is. I do & will show ZERO tolerance towards whoever's personal attacks to me. I'll pursue full retaliation upon any such misconducts. Word by word. Phase by phase! I do & will make whoever initiates personal attacks to me look dirt cheap & miserable. 'Cause I am only human, like everybody else.
Enough said.

I was pointing out the obvious parallel between that story and when golden-eared audio types say, "What, you can't hear how much better that sounds? Well then your rig/ears aren't good enough to tell the difference." I was pointing out that this is exactly the same thing that happens in the Emperor's story - hucksters claim that the new suit of clothes they are making for the Emperor cannot be seen by fools, and everyone plays along not wanting to be called a fool for not seeing the clothes.Just pointing out a parallel to an old story.
I won't be freezing any cables or tubes in the near future.

Hi Chris.Every kid reads this fable though I can't say every adult watched
this Enlgish play.Again you missed my point. I say it agian: even if one doesn't
like whoever's post, leave it alone. One doesn't NEED to call that
poster a "fool". Right? You want me to call you a "fool" next time
when you post something? I will if you do it again to whoever it will be - in much worse language than "a fool".Got it?
Good listening

Jan 28, 2004.PS: I don't NEED anyone else deep-freeze its stuff. I just told my
experience of doing it.
I did not call you a fool, I was quoting from the text in the story where the huxters say that those who cannot see the new clothes must be fools.I was comparing your statement "a lousy rig may not show the sonic improvement" to the statement "fools may not be able to see the Emperor's new clothes."
Dead horse sufficiently beaten.
