Does anyone know why 0.22uF K40 caps are cheaper at 1,000V than 630V? I see this on eBay, maybe it's not like that everywhere?

Physical size?
The 1000v are more plentiful than the the 630v and not as easy to move..I used to buy the .22 at 1000v K40Ys for 99 cents each and I would 100 at a time.

Any difference in the sound that you've noticed?

As Mike said the price difference is based on supply and demand, with the 630 volt caps being in a significantly tighter supply situation.
Also, FWIW I can't hear any difference at all between the different voltages.
Thanks Jim. I guess stocks of the 630V are drying up. Not much of a size penalty for the higher voltage, so I bought a small lot. Should last me for a while.

Depending on where you use them, you may get a slightly sound out of one vs the other.Like Jim says, there probably isn't any difference when all is said and done.

Mikey, we love ya bro, but you need to proof read your posts before posting them! That way you can avoid things like you might get "a slightly sound out of one". I only say this because I have noticed missing info in several posts.
he's just old like the rest of us and probably multi tasking.....
We all know what you mean ;--)
