I think the album was "Electric Ladyland" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. I had a chance to buy with the naked lady album cover about 25 years ago or so, but I though $30.00 was too much. Wish I bought it. It's very good album, but my copy is just the run-of-the-mill cover. I particularly like side c (it's a double record album).

That was my first thought too, when Triode Kingdom posted the picture, but it's not.
I have that album too, maybe that's what I was thinking about. Not 100% sure now.

I found the alternate cover on line. I was pretty sure the cap ad picture was from the Hendrix LP when you posted it, until I actually compared the two.
The one I have is an import, bought it 35-40 years ago at a record shop in Houston. Still has the thick plastic outer wrapper with the import sticker. I've played it once or twice, trying to save it for as long as possible. :)
I thought I had seen the photo in the cap ad on an album, but now I'm not sure. It was a long time ago. Guess we could write the seller and ask, eh?

But sometimes the mystery is best left alone.
Now, after our discussion, I want to listen to some Hendrix...
Yep, the capacitor ad used something else. I sure kick myself for not buying the album when I had a chance; I could have made a comparison.
I have a short list of those regrets, both with LPs and equipment. But when I simply couldn't afford them, there wasn't much I could do.
