There are folks that think the older, cheaper VSF (I think?) caps are more natural than the uber-expensive cast-types... they don't like the casts. I am inclined to believe them, although I have heard and will try neither.
Your system is heavily biased towards AN products, which are voiced around their branded components - I am not surprised you find AN capacitors more to your liking in a largely AN system.

As stated in my previous post, I have not tried any Duelunds... and don't intend to at this stage. There are other caps that are more appealing to me in the circuits I use... mostly as cathode bypasses in directly coupled amps.
Note: I have not disagreed with your opinions of the Duelunds.

I don't see you state what system you were using as a test-jig in your original post, but yes, can now see where you added it in a sub-thread.
You like the sonic presentation of AN; good for you - you know what you like... many people don't.
