If you are going to replace the power transformer, caps, rectifiers, sockets, tubes, wire, volume pot, RCAs, headphone jack, circuit board, yes it will be better but it is still going to be the same crappy circuit. It will just be a lot easier to purchase a magic fuse and power cord and convince your self of improvements.

wouldn't that be a new amplifier ?
Much of the quality of a amp is in the circuit design. The key contributor to the sound quality is how you match the load of the tube to the impedance of the headphones. You can replace all the parts with fancy parts, but that may not improve anything.
A few users who modded it reported "better" sound than the stock, but admittedly not great.
