They Hytron HY69 is a Thoriated Tungsten final a bit like an 807. Pin connections are similar, and their plate ratings are too. Not too nutsy expensive either. Never heard one SE; got no interest in such topologies...heh-heh-heh.
cheers,
Douglas
Friend, I would not hurt thee for the world...but thou art standing where I am about to shoot.
Follow Ups:
Yes, I am making a amplifier with the brother HY1269 in SE class A.
I have a lot of HY69 and HY1269.
I prefer the HY1269 because the gain is biggest.

813 is also nice. There is also some DH signal pentodes, one like a 12BY7 for instance...and while we're on coated filament types, try a 2E22. There is no big shortage of good DH pentodes.
cheers,
Douglas

Other two tubes fine for experiments in triode SE class A are the 865 and the 2e25. I have this two and will test in future.
