Did they change the power supply caps? Often the thumps are due to leakage in the caps.

Hi Stu,
No they didn't replace the the power supply caps which at first I was kinda puzzled by that. I was going to replace the power supply caps just because of want did happen to the amp and age and stress of the draw at power up before I started in with the input stage of the amp. Thank You for the info. I have the parts coming in and should have the results soon. will post them as soon as I get them.
